These terms govern your use of Quillica, operated by Cwtch Digital Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales. By using Quillica, you agree to these terms.
Quillica is a novel writing application that provides planning tools, AI-assisted writing features, and editorial tools. The service is provided as-is and we continually improve and update it.
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. You must provide accurate information when creating your account. You must be at least 16 years old to use Quillica. One person per account — sharing accounts is not permitted.
You own everything you write in Quillica. We claim no intellectual property rights over your creative content. You grant us only the limited licence needed to operate the service — storing your data, processing AI requests you initiate, and syncing across your devices.
You are responsible for the content you create. You agree not to use Quillica to generate content that is illegal, harmful, or infringes on the rights of others.
Quillica uses AI (provided by Anthropic) to power writing tools. When you use these features, your relevant content is sent to the AI for processing. You should be aware that:
Quillica offers free and paid plans. Paid subscriptions are billed monthly through Lemon Squeezy, our payment processor. Prices are inclusive of applicable taxes.
Each paid plan includes a generous fair-use allowance for AI features. If you consistently exceed your allowance, we may ask you to upgrade to a higher tier. We will always notify you before taking any action.
You agree not to:
We aim to keep Quillica available at all times but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. We may update, modify, or discontinue features with reasonable notice. For significant changes that affect your workflow, we will notify you in advance.
While we take every precaution to protect your data, we recommend keeping your own backups of important writing. We provide export functionality for this purpose. We are not liable for data loss beyond the limits of applicable law.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cwtch Digital Ltd's total liability to you for any claims arising from or related to the service is limited to the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
You can delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with notice where possible. On termination, we will delete your data in accordance with our privacy policy.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or within the application. Continued use of Quillica after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
